Mission:
Our mission is to cultivate a nurturing ecosystem for Black-owned enterprises across Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. We are dedicated to crafting a comprehensive strategy that fosters the development of generational wealth and ensures financial security for our Brotherhood and the communities we serve.
Overview of Bigger and Better Business:
When Bigger and Better Business was established as a national initiative, it placed special emphasis on the advancement and empowerment of Black-owned businesses. From its inception, the program aimed to empower these enterprises to enhance their skills, efficiency, and customer service, enabling them to compete effectively with other businesses.
Sigma serves as a platform to enhance the credibility of businesses and provides a stage for promoting them to our target market and audience. This new audience includes our members and network, and we aim to support them by leveraging both traditional and non-traditional media assets controlled by each chapter and member. Crucially, we recognize the importance of prioritizing our efforts effectively. Our guiding principle is clear: each chapter should identify opportunities that contribute to the advancement of: a) Black Entrepreneurs, b) Existing Small Black-owned Businesses, c) Education and Financial resources for all, and d) Awareness, Promotion, and Awards to facilitate success across various levels. We are committed to building a strong foundation for new levels of achievement.
Brotherly,
Aaron Wright
